Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Durand

Very nice updated hotel. The room was great. Pet friendly, which is super helpful when traveling. Hot breakfast. Housekeeping could be a little more thorough--there were stinky leftovers in our fridge and bobbypins on the ground.

Shockingly modern and nice hotel located in the middle of nowhere. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was very modern and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. They use down comforters so it was incredibly cozy. Overall, a hidden gem in a ghost town.

If you are in the Durand area in Northwest Wisconsin you can count on a clean comfortable and quiet room. The guys working the desk are courteous and helpful. The wifi is a little slow but remember where your at and there breakfast options the four or five times I've stayed there isn't great with the last time this past weekend being one of the worst with kind of sad scrambled eggs with no meat choice as according to the desk man they didn't get any and some fruit choices and assorted small Danish. I won't let that stop me from staying here In the future as I disregard the breakfast thing and it's a very nice hotel but I have to let people know about this or it wouldn't be a fair review if you expect breakfast with your room you might be disappointed here.

The customer service here is wonderful. They let my kid get yogurts even when it's not breakfast anymore. The rooms and very clean and big. We stayed in the extended stay room. It had a small kitchenette which had a stove, a sink, and a dishwasher. It also included some dishes already in the room. The water pressure here is really good also!! Are stay here has been so great. Would definitely recommend to stay to here!!

We stayed here for a wedding that was in Pepin. Very clean & comfortable. The breakfast was inedible. I think they had fake scrambled eggs. Tasted horrible, as did the sausage. That's why I'm giving 4 stars. Everything else was fine.

This was our second stay at Cobblestone in Durand. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was ok, but the sofa sleeper mattress was showing it's age with some squeaky springs. The rates were a little more than our earlier stay this year, but that may be because they were pretty booked up the weekend we were there. The morning complimentary breakfast has a variety of items such as waffles, eggs, gravy and biscuits, cereals, yogurts, bagels, bread for toast, plus some fresh fruit and fruit juices. There was also some decent coffee, plus decaf for those cutting back on the caffeine. The waffles were make-it-yourself with a batter dispenser and timed waffle machine like those at many larger hotels. The waffles were really good. The eggs were the pre-made type, like at fast-foot place. We had a suite room with a sofa sleeper outside the bedroom which was handy, if one of you snore. The room had some dishes, but it would have been nice to have a just a few more available. The room also had a stove top, though we only needed the microwave. One nice bonus is there was a full-sized refrigerator in the suite. Regular rooms have the mini-frig. There was also a TV in the sofa room, as well as one in the bedroom. So, would we stay here again, the answer is yes. Overall, the Cobblestone is providing a room which is very comparable to other chain hotels.

Nice clean place. A little different that it's in a neighborhood. The window view was of a red barn/ shed so we closed the curtains. Sad to say our bed was hard as a rock. Felt like we were sleeping on plywood. Sore backs in the morning. Went to chiropractor when we got home. Otherwise, it's clean and a nice place to stay. Nice continental breakfast.
